On May 8, the 6th Global "AEO" Conference, sponsored by WCO and jointly organized by the General Administration of Customs and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, opened in Shenzhen. More than 1,200 people from more than 100 countries and regions, including government departments, international organizations, business and academic representatives, attended the conference and exchanged views and discussions on relevant issues.

AEO stands for Authorized Economic Operator. The AEO system is the core system of the WCO's Global Trade Security and Facilitation Standard Framework, which aims to minimize the risk of customs supervision through the cooperation between customs and customs, customs and the business community, and customs and other government departments, so as to promote the security of the global supply chain and trade facilitation, and achieve mutual benefit between customs and enterprises and smooth trade.

The system is to authenticate the credit status, law-abiding degree and safety level of the enterprise by the customs, and the enterprises that pass the certification can obtain preferential and convenient measures given by the customs. It is reported that China has signed AEO mutual recognition agreements with 28 economies, covering 54 countries and regions, and more than 5,800 enterprises with advanced customs certification enjoy the convenience of customs clearance at home and abroad. The number of mutual recognition agreements signed and the number of mutual recognition countries (regions) ranks first in the world.

As one of the AEO representative enterprises in China, KTC appeared at the global conference with its latest display products, including intelligent interactive tablets, innovative display products and smart TVS, and attracted media attention.

In 2020, KTC officially became a customs AEO senior certification enterprise, enjoying a series of convenience measures and preferential policies at home, effectively reducing enterprise international trade costs, enhance international competitiveness, and can also enjoy customs clearance convenience measures provided by economies, countries and regions that have carried out AEO mutual recognition in China.

According to KTC's 2023 annual report, the operating revenue in 2023 is about 13.4 billion yuan, of which export sales account for about 84% of the operating revenue, showing KTC's influence and popularity in overseas markets.
